Do you take nutritional supplements?

Post by Daisy » Mon Sep 05, 2022 10:52 am

Currently, I don't take any supplements, however, in the past I have taken different kinds of supplements such as calcium, iron, Zinc, Vitamin D, Vitamin B12, etc. Even though I don't like taking supplements, sometimes I have to. Do you take nutritional supplements?

I don't take nutritional supplement unless I have been recommended by my physician. I like to take vitamins and minerals from the food I eat and not from the synthetic medicines manufactured in the lab.

I did not used to take nutritional supplements but I do now. I take a fruit and vegetable powder blend that is specially formulated for women over 50. I also take sublingual vitamin B-12 tablets because it helps increase my energy level. I can honestly say that I notice the difference when I don't take them. I feel slowed down, tired, and even a little bit depressed.

I take supplements. An organic multi vitamin, iodine, as well as my ‘greens’. But I also treat it as the name implies. It’s a Supplement to the diet, not to take the place of eating real food. I find I feel better with these added to my diet. I've tried various herbs & have several books on them. They can definitely help!

No, I wont take any nutritional supplements since I do daily works and regular exercise so no need all these things. Once on a Doctor given me special supplement to drink with milk for Digestive system.
I have used this on that time and had food feelings, but it is costly. In these days people are eating like oats and much more other things for breakfast, Dinner.

When it comes to choosing nutritional supplements, I rely on personalized advice from healthcare professionals. For overall health, I opt for a high-quality multivitamin to fill potential nutrient gaps in my diet. Since I don't consume much fish, I take omega-3 supplements to support heart and brain health. Additionally, vitamin D helps me maintain strong bones, especially during the winter months. Consulting with experts ensures I make informed decisions tailored to my specific needs.

I used to take multivitamins, but nowadays I don't take supplements of any kind anymore, there was also a time when I took creatine powder and protein shakes, but I stopped taking them because they made my stomach feel bad, so I had to discard them.

I sometimes take nutritional supplements. The type of nutritional supplement you should take depends on your individual health needs and goals. Common supplements include multivitamins for overall health support, omega-3 fatty acids for heart and brain health, vitamin D for bone health, and probiotics for gut health. Consult with a healthcare professional to determine which supplements, if any, are appropriate for you based on your diet, lifestyle, and health status.
