Does exposure to blue light from screens affect sleep quality?

Post by Suzane » Tue Mar 26, 2024 10:42 am

Exposure to blue light, especially before bedtime, can disrupt the body's natural sleep-wake cycle by suppressing the production of melatonin, a hormone that regulates sleep. This can lead to difficulty falling asleep and poor sleep quality. Limiting screen time before bed and using blue light filters or glasses can mitigate these effects.
