How do you cope up with stress?

Stress is very common in our life. There is no way you can avoid, however, what is important is you need to learn to cope with stress. How do you do that? For me meditation and yoga has helped me to battle with stress.

I do breathing exercise. I take deep breath and exhale deep breath. I breath in and out deep from the belly area. If you do this exercise correctly even for 5 minutes, you will feel relaxed. You do not need any medication for stress if you do breathing exercise regularly.

I'll read. Reading is not only a form of entertainment for me, it helps me to relieve stress because it gets my mind off whatever is stressing me out.

I unplug often throughout the day. We live rural, on acreage so I only have to go outside our door to breathe fresh air, see the flora & fauna that's around. Just sitting with my furbabies helps me unwind as well. You rethink what your priorities are in life when you can just stop & smell the literal roses. I also enjoy doing jigsaw puzzles & Variety Puzzle books. Anything to get my mind focused on something else.

I turn off my phone, and lay down on the couch. It will do wonders for calming myself down. I also play video games to calm down.

I have come to understand that the best way to take care of stress is for you to rest and sleep it off which is why I try as much as I can to get enough rest so that my body will not be too stressed.

I write "mindful letters" to my future self, focusing on hopes and solutions. I also practice "sound therapy" by listening to calming nature sounds and "creative visualization," imagining serene landscapes. I also engage in spontaneous dance sessions to release tension and boost endorphins, blending movement with mindfulness for immediate stress relief
