My grandad used to play bowls before he passed away and after he passed, my grandma took over and she started playing bowls. I am not sure if she still plays it as much as she used to anymore now that she is older but she used to play in tournaments a lot when she played. I and my brothers used to go with my mum during the summer and watch her play bowls on the weekend which was a lot of fun and see would often let us use a spear set of bowls and a jack when we were younger to play bowls together as well.
