Pope may not have his own bank balance or property in his name but he is definitely a rich person. Look at his lifestyle. He travels in a private jet.
Dalai Lama does not have a job and any kind of work that pays him money but he can travel around the word and live in hotels when traveling.
Very few people might have heard of Ramdev outside India but he is a billionaire. He owns companies that have turnover worth billions of dollars.

I believe you can make a lot of money by becoming a priest or religious leaders, it is easy to fool people via religion.

So many people believe in Christianity and I think that really does help priests and religious leaders get money. I also believe that they are able to save on basic necessities because people might offer donations of things they need in order to survive. They probably also send them money donations too, and the government might help give them money.
