Should you pick clothes based on actual trends or on what you like? I think picking something based on trends is a silly idea and just gets people upset.

When I was a kid I think we all fell into the trap of trying to stay with the trends. I know now that I have kids myself they are the same, always trying to be in with the trends and like their friends. Since I got older though I don't tend to bother with the trends as much now and I buy and wear what I feel comfortable in.
