I recall when I used to drink medications against depression and they made me hungries so I kept eating a lot and got really fat (85kg). I know this is not much by US standards but it is for me because I was always fit. I don't know why this happens but my friend also has the same issue with medications and weight.

Anyone had issues with this?

Some medications can cause weight gain as a side effect. This can happen due to increased appetite, fluid retention, slowed metabolism, or changes in fat storage. Common medications associated with weight gain include certain antidepressants, antipsychotics, corticosteroids, and insulin. It's important to discuss any concerns with a healthcare provider, who can adjust dosages or suggest alternatives if necessary
