Dressing in a unique way

When people dress they tend to follow the latest fashion dictated by celebreties however there are people who refuse to be part of this and they make their own style which can be odd and repulsive to others. Usually this can cause a critique and shaming by others. Do you dress unique and if yes, did you encounter shaming by friends or society?
