It seems that Christmas as a holiday has become a world holiday (almost) and yet, very few who are not Christians don't know what this holiday is about. They watch movies and only see presents and christmas tree and festive emotions but none of them actually knows it is a celebration of birth of Jesus Christ, the son of God, by Christians. Yes, it also seems strange to me, because many people look forward to Christmas as if it is just a day off, and even many atheists celebrate it, and I think to myself, do you even know what kind of holiday it is? But in most cases, they don't even think about the word itself, because even the name says it all.
