Which places in the world left the most vivid impression on you and why?

I have not yet had time to visit the most resort places of our planet, but I have been to some European countries on vacation. More often I just visited cities and did not see the sea, but when I visited Italy, it was a completely different atmosphere. I really liked the climate and the people. And of course the most delicious Italian cuisine.
