How do you think culture and traditions affect society?

In my opinion, traditions can have a very negative impact because someone may not like them and many may have different opinions about it and they will not mind expressing their opinions. In my opinion, this is not entirely good, because for people who are easily influenced, there may be a desire to stop following traditions and they will simply forget about them, and it is potentially lost a whole family that will forget about certain celebrations.

Culture and traditions profoundly influence society by shaping individuals' beliefs, behaviors, and values. They provide a sense of identity, belonging, and continuity across generations. Cultural practices foster social cohesion and solidarity, promoting cooperation and mutual understanding within communities. However, traditions can also reinforce social hierarchies, stereotypes, and discrimination, impacting societal dynamics. By understanding and critically evaluating cultural norms, societies can harness the positive aspects of tradition while fostering inclusivity, tolerance, and progress.

From my perspective, culture and traditions wield significant influence over society, molding our values, beliefs, behaviors, and how we interact. They grant us a sense of identity, belonging, and a feeling of continuity, which fosters unity among communities. Furthermore, they establish the boundaries for social norms and customs, guiding our choices and actions. Nonetheless, stubbornly clinging to traditions can hinder progress and limit inclusivity, whereas embracing diversity enhances the richness of our society. Culture and traditions are integral components of our societal fabric, reflecting our collective history, values, and aspirations

Culture and traditions play a fundamental role in shaping society by providing a sense of identity, belonging, and continuity, reinforcing social bonds and values. Cultural practices influence behavior, norms, and institutions, guiding social interactions and shaping collective identity. But sadly culture and traditions are being interpreted as useless things by younger generation, especially Gen Z.
