Title: Feeling of Guilt
Post by: Arnold on July 05, 2022, 01:39:30 AM
One of the main reasons why people do not talk about their mental health is because of a feeling of guilt associated with it. Talking about your inner feelings, your thoughts, and your emotions are not in any way related to making yourself guilty. You can not be labeled as guilty unless you are seriously involved with hurting someone physically, mentally, and emotionally.

This is very true and it is often the reason why so many people will live in silence about their mental health issues rather than talk about them. I am the same, I always sit and think to myself "someone is probably going through something worse than me and I feel guilty for mentioning how I feel" and then I just keep quiet but that never helps when it comes to mental health. I have to try and get out of feeling guilty when I feel my mental health is taking a wrong turn and know that speaking about it is better than keeping it inside.
