When you are out and about running errands or maybe even out with friends, anxiety can strike at any moment for almost anyone, and for those who suffer with it more, they can often find that it affects them worse and find a way to ground themselves when you are out can help a lot with avoiding a panic attack.
Grounding yourself involves thinking of 3 different things and focusing on something else and taking deep breaths until you calm you feel yourself calming down. This is a method I have used a few times myself and it does work if you are able to focus on what you need to.
Do you have a way of grounding yourself when anxiety kicks in when you are out and about?
