Schizophrenia is a condition when a person relapses into the multiple episodes of psychosis. Scientists have been unable to pinpoint the exact reason why Schizophrenia occurs in an individual or what causes Schizophrenia. The scientists believe that Schizophrenia is caused by a combination of nature (environment, genes) and nurture (stressful life events) factors. People who are prone to Schizophrenia might go into a psychotic episode when they are psychologically and emotionally unstable or are experiencing extreme life events.
