These are certainly great movies but the movies that made me almost cry are as follows:
The Color Purple: This 1985 drama about a woman's struggle to find her own identity in the face of racism and abuse can make you cry easily.
The Bridges of Madison County. This 1995 romantic drama about a photographer who falls in love with a lonely housewife, you surely touch in the deep level.
Good Will Hunting: This 1997 drama is about a janitor with a genius-level IQ who is discovered by a professor and therapist.
The Passion of the Christ: This 2004 biblical drama about the last days of Jesus Christ can make anyone cry not just Christians.
The Theory of Everything: This is a 2014 biographical drama about the life of physicist Stephen Hawking and his struggle with ALS.

What a great list! Don't forget about adding Lion King to the list. That was a great hit, and me and loads of people keeping re-watching the scenes, getting emotional each time. A great watch for kids and disney lovers
