Bipolar disorder is actually a personality disorder, which is affected by mood swings. There are basically two types of bipolar disorders mania and depressive. Mania is extreme high, where as depressive is extreme low.

Interestingly, not many people know they have bipolar disorders. Bipolar disorders are common in children and adolescents but they do not know about the disorders until they are diagnosed in their adulthood. If un treated, it might become severe and may result in suicide.

Bipolar disorder is a complex mental health condition that involves fluctuations in mood, energy, and activity levels. While the exact causes of bipolar disorder are not fully understood, research suggests that genetics, environmental factors, and changes in brain chemistry may all contribute to the development of the disorder.

Bipolar disorder is a mood disorder characterized by extreme shifts in mood, energy, and activity levels. It is not a personality disorder, but rather a condition that affects a person's mood and can cause significant disruptions in their daily life.
