A person dealing with personality disorders will show frequent mood swings, anti social behaviour, social isolation, trouble in making friends or dealing with people, narcissism, having difficulty in relationship, mistrust of others, angry outburst, etc. These symptoms are easy to spot in any individual if you have spent some time with this person.

The people suffering from personality disorders cannot deal with everyday issues. They are suspicious of other people, try to live in isolation, and will show extreme emotional swings.

Unless the symptoms are extreme, I do not think it is easy to find out whether the person has any kind of personality disorders or not. In our society, it is ok to remain alone, not talk to other people, get angry, etc. People just believe these symptoms to be the trait of that person (because not all people have pleasing personality, not all people can get along with other people). Unless the person is too violent, too angry, too much lonely, people will never take these symptoms too seriously.
