Do you like sleeping with or without lights?

If you're going to bed in the night to sleep, do you like having the lights of your room being on or off? I don't like my room lights on when I'm trying to sleep because it gets in my eyes which makes harder for me to sleep quickly.

How do you sleep? With or without light?

I don't like the dark at all, and when I lived with my parents, they always made me turn off the light when I was sleeping, but it wasn't very comfortable for me, so now that I live alone, I can sleep as I like, but the bright light sometimes even bothers me there is a nightstand.

I like to sleep with one light on so I can see in case I need to get up to see in the dark and because I just don't like it pitch-black.

I love and enjoy sleeping with light when I was still a teenager because I feel more comfortable when the lights are on in the room. But as I became an adult, I don't find it convenient and comfortable to sleep with light anymore.

I prefer to sleep with lights off and can't sleep with lights but I don't mind very mid light although I don't have any such requirement
