How do online payments work?
Online payments allow customers to make purchases and transactions electronically using credit cards, debit cards, digital wallets, or other payment methods. When a customer makes a payment online, their payment information is encrypted and securely transmitted to the merchant's payment processor for authorization and processing.
Re: How do online payments work?
Online payments have made life so much easier, but I’m always a bit paranoid about security. It’s great that payment info is encrypted, but with all the data breaches we hear about, I still hesitate sometimes. That said, using digital wallets like Apple Pay or PayPal has definitely made me feel a bit safer, especially since they don’t share my actual card info with the merchant. Anyone else feel the same way?
