How does regional geography influence the ingredients and flavors of local cuisines?
Regional geography influences the ingredients and flavors of local cuisines by determining the availability of certain foods and the agricultural practices of the area. Coastal regions often feature seafood-based dishes, while mountainous areas may showcase hearty stews and preserved meats. Additionally, climates and soil conditions impact the cultivation of crops and the use of spices, herbs, and indigenous ingredients, contributing to the diversity of regional cuisines.

It does affect the taste, cooking style and food habits like I am in the North of India and the food that is popular in my region won't be popular in the south.
