It depends because not the same effect. Means your body has some exceptions to take this medecine plan that is prescribed by a doctor. Auto medication with plans is never been recommanded at all for example.

In India, we still see many people prefer to treat themselves with the help of those medicinal plants and in a way its effective as we don't have to consume those bitter pills.
