Ever tried duck before?

Post by Ravenfreak » Sun Oct 08, 2023 9:11 pm

When we think of poultry, most of the time only turkey and chicken seems to come to mind. Of course there's other ones too such as duck! I never had duck before and I would like to try it sometime though. I've heard it tastes a lot like dark meat chicken, though a little more gamey. Have you ever tried duck before? Does it taste a bit like chicken or not? I know everyone's taste buds are different, so maybe to you it might not taste like chicken.

I tried it when I was a child at my grandmother's in the village, when they fed ducks, they prepared one for my birthday and I can't say exactly what the taste was because it was quite small, but I think that the taste almost completely resembled the taste of chicken, but the meat was a bit tougher

I have had duck before and as much as it is nice, it is not a meat that I could eat all the time. I find that I tend to eat duck more when it comes to Christmas and we have the duck spring rolls with the party food for Christmas.

I eat it once. However it doesn't seems to be delicious meal. It is only my personal choice so may it could be something good or tasty for others.
