Worst travels

What is the worst vacation you've ever been too?

For me it was a town in Nevada, there was very little else other than casino's and smokers. The hotel smelled like tobacco, and a drunk guy harassed us.

I wouldn't call it the worst travel but when I was in Cambodia, I had pretty bad experience with the locals. They were expecting me to give them money as white skin was thought to have a lot of money but I was a budget tourist and couldn't give them anything.

I have no complaints about any of the places that I went to on vacation with my late husband and our children. However, there was a place that I traveled THROUGH on my way to another location. I made the mistake of booking a room at a hotel to spend the night. We would only be there for one night. The next morning we would check out and continue our journey. We were driving through on our way to Texas and stopped to spend in the night in Birmingham, Alabama. I made the hotel reservations over the phone. I had no idea it was in a rough part of town and that the area was not safe and known for crime. Lesson learned. I won't do that again!

Of all the vacations I have been on in the past I can't say any of them were really bad at all. We were well accommodated and we had a lot of fun and it was how I expected if I am honest. Couldn't image going on vacation and having a bad time but I know many people have in the past.

For me, it was going to a hill station a few hundred kilometres from where I used to live. It was a horrible place. No facilities, no fun activities.

For me, in principle, any vacation is acceptable, the main thing is not to work in the office, but when I visited Germany, I did not like the service in one city, and because of that attitude towards me, I stopped liking the whole city, and almost a whole day of vacation did not bring me satisfaction.
