I have faced it from time to time since early childhood days, but never in extreme ways. I have always been on taller side. I am five feet eight inches and that is too tall for being an Indian women. People always talked about it and sometimes making it a ridicule.I married a person of the same height. But over the period of time, he lost his hair and looks shorter than me. I have long legs and that makes me look pretty tall. People, especially the closed ones from my husband's side would never leave a chance to point out that our pair would have looked better if I was a bit short or my husband was a bit tall. Such comments were offensive when I was young. But now with age both husband and I are pretty comfortable with how and what we are. Now, I feel that many envy the good height and fit body that I am blessed with. It's their negative emotions and inferior complexity that comes out in their comments.
