The discovery of fire is considered a life-changing moment in human civilization because now people could see in the darkness with the aid of fire. People have invented lights bulbs because they were afraid of darkness. When there is the light they can see clearly. Ancient civilizations like Egyptians, Sumerians, and the Hindus began worshipping Sun because the sun gave light, and in the sunlight, people have better perceptions of the world around them.

These are basic things and if I need to name a new thing then it will be the internet and then smartphone as they have revolutionized the whole world.
