Emotional dependence on another person is not good as you will have to give up your moral grounds to be who you are, and how you define as an individual. You lose the ability to think and act on your own. This will result in the constant need to have someone to dictate your thoughts and actions. I try ti improve my self worth.

There are multiple negative effects of emotional dependency. One of the worst ones is it will stop you from being who you actually are, thus, it sill affect your emotional, social, and personal growth. You can manage your emotional well being by creating your own value system and never build your perceptions to fit into the other individual’s belief system.
