What is your fitness regime?

Post by Daisy » Wed Sep 14, 2022 9:30 am

When it comes to remain fit and healthy, what is your fitness regime?

My fitness regime includes:

Avoiding high calorie diet, especially carbs and fats
Not eating heavy meal in the evening, avoiding late night snacks
Low impact exercise for at least 40 minutes, three times a week

I like to walk, I drink a lot of water and I eat a lot of vegetables. In my opinion, walking is the best exercise as you can remain fit and healthy without tiring your body and without damaging your body. Drinking a lot of water will release toxins from your body and vegetables are good for minerals, vitamins, antioxidants, and dietary fiber.

My fitness regime is all in my head. LOL. I keep saying that I am going to exercise. But I'm in a rut. Every day I wake up, I get a cup of coffee, and then I start working online with my laptop. I stay on it all day long. My kids keep saying "Mom! Get up! At least walk around the house!" I keep saying to myself: "All I have to do is go for a walk. Just set a period of time during the day, and go for a walk!" But I lack discipline and motivation to JUST DO IT! It's nobody's fault but my own.

At the moment my fitness regime is to go walking at least once a day for around 30 minutes and I sometimes attempt to do 10,000 steps as well. I am looking into getting a weighted hula hoop though when I can afford it so that I can be more active in the house as well as out of the house when I am walking. As much as I am always cleaning and getting exercise that way, having the weighted hula hoop will help a lot as well.

I am building muscles and want to be huge and that involves eating meals loaded with proteins. That was the recommendation from my fitness coach and it has helped me stay on touch of how I want to train too.

Since I'm trying to gain weight, I avoid high-intensity exercises and also try to drink enough water to balance the body. Also performs physical exercises three times a week for no more than 30 minutes a day so as not to lose a lot of weight.

My fitness routine includes a mix of activities to keep things balanced and interesting. I do strength training a few times a week, focusing on different muscle groups each session. I also incorporate cardio, like jogging or cycling, to boost endurance. On some days, I add yoga or stretching for flexibility and relaxation. I make sure to listen to my body and adjust as needed.

At present, I am not following any fitness regime. In the past, I tried the zero sugar challenge and intermittent fasting for 15-16 hours a day but it was quite hard.

Staying fit and healthy requires a balanced approach, and it sounds like you have a solid regime in place. Avoiding high-calorie diets and heavy evening meals can really help manage energy levels and weight. Incorporating low-impact exercise three times a week for at least 40 minutes is a great way to stay active without putting too much strain on your body. Consistency is key, and your strategy seems effective for maintaining overall well-being.
