Websites work by storing files and data on web servers, which are specialized computers connected to the Internet. When someone types a website's domain name into their web browser, the browser sends a request to the server, which then sends the website's files back to the browser to be displayed.

It amazes me how fast this takes place. It can't go as fast as the speed of light, but it seems like it. Anyway, with such technology, I wonder why humans can't make spaceships to travel outside the solar system yet.

Pretty cool how simple it sounds when you break it down like that. It’s wild to think that every time you type in a URL, your browser is basically having a conversation with a server somewhere across the world. I always wondered how websites load so fast, especially with all the images and videos on them. I guess it comes down to how well the server and the site itself are optimized. Does anyone know if using a better hosting service really makes a noticeable difference?
