To prevent plantar fasciitis, wear supportive shoes, avoid walking or running on hard surfaces, stretch the muscles of the foot and calf regularly, and maintain a healthy weight. If you develop plantar fasciitis, rest, ice, and elevate the affected foot, and consider wearing orthotic inserts or seeking physical therapy for additional support and rehabilitation.

Prevent plantar fasciitis by wearing supportive shoes, avoiding high-impact activities, and stretching regularly. Treat it with rest, ice, and over-the-counter pain relievers. Physical therapy, orthotics, and night splints can also help alleviate symptoms.
